Bunkyo Civic Center is located in Bunkyo City, Tokyo, and consists of a hall used for music events, the Bunkyo City Office, and other public facilities, and is known for its free observation deck.
About Bunkyo Civic Center Observation Deck
The Observation Deck, located on the 25th floor of the Bunkyo Civic Center (approximately 105 meters above ground level), offers a 330-degree panoramic view of the city.
Mount Fuji, the Chichibu Mountains(Saitama Prefecture), and Mount Tsukuba (Ibaraki Prefecture) in the daytime when the air is clear, and the night view of Tokyo, including the Tokyo Sky Tree and the buildings of Shinjuku and Ikebukuro, can be seen at night.
Tokyo Skytree seen from the observation deck
Since the Bunkyo Civic Center Observation Deck is not as well known as the Tokyo Metropolitan Government Building Observation Deck in Shinjuku, the advantage of the Bunkyo Civic Center Observation Deck is that visitors can enjoy the view at a leisurely pace.
