Takoyaki is a Japanese dish of flour dough, filled with octopus and condiments and cooked into a spherical shape.
It is generally served with takoyaki sauce and Japanese mayonnaise, often topped with dried bonito flakes and aonori flakes (dried seaweed). Some restaurants also offer other toppings such as grated radish ponzu sauce and green onion.

Takoyaki can also be found in countrywide, but there are more takoyaki restaurants in Osaka, the birthplace of takoyaki.
Many of them are located in Dotonbori, a typical tourist spot, and Shinsekai, where Tsutenkaku Tower is located, so it is recommended to find your favorite restaurant.
