Lake Ashinoko Summer Festival Week is a six-day (July 31 – August 5, 2023) summer festival held around Lake Ashinoko in Hakone, Kanagawa Prefecture.
During the Lake Ashinoko Summer Festival Week, 2,500 fireworks will be launched every day.

There are four locations where fireworks are launched, and the locations differ depending on the day of the festival.
The launch sites are Moto-Hakone Bay on July 31 and August 1, Hakone-en bay on August 2 and 3, Kojiri Bay on August 4, and Hakone Bay on August 5.

Torii Yaki (Torii Burning)

On the last day of Lake Ashinoko Summer Festival Week, Torii Yaki (Torii Burning) will be held.
This is an ancient festival in which two torii gates, each 6 meters high and 6.7 meters long, are built on the surface of Lake Ashinoko, and dedicated to the dragon god as a bonfire.
