The Edogawa Fireworks Festival is a large-scale fireworks display held on the banks of the Edogawa River, which flows between Edogawa City, Tokyo and Ichikawa City, Chiba Prefecture.
The Edogawa Fireworks Festival begins with an opening ceremony in which 1,000 fireworks are shot off in 5 seconds, followed by 8 themes, and fireworks are shot off with background music.

On the same day, Ichikawa City holds a fireworks festival under the name “Ichikawa Shimin Noryo Fireworks Festival” , but the fireworks themselves are the same.

Note: After the fireworks display, Shinozaki and Koiwa stations are very crowded, and it can take more than an hour to enter the station. Therefore, they recommend using Edogawa and Mizue Stations, which are relatively empty.
